Coal Blending

Coal is blended to the target specification on a base of local anthracite. The raw material yard is fully enclosed.

  • 01Coal Blending

Coal is blended to the target specification on a base of local anthracite. The raw material yard is fully enclosed.

  • 02Stamping

The blend is compacted into a single coal cake at raised bulk density, yielding a dense coke with few fissures.

  • 03Coking

The cake is charged into the carbonisation chamber. The gas circuit runs under negative pressure throughout, containing fugitive emissions.

  • 04Quenching

Coke is pushed, quenched and moved to the wharf to cool. The hot flue gas is routed to waste-heat boilers for power generation.

  • 05Screening

Coke is screened and graded to the sizing required by the order, as an existing process step.

  • 06Loading and Despatch

Despatch follows issue of the third-party analysis certificate. Cargo moves inland to the export port for loading.

Select a hotspot to explore the production processThe base image is the plant's actual aerial photo; by default it is shown with an AI night-style treatment (switch to the daytime original in the top-right corner) and is not an actual night photograph. Hotspot positions and connecting lines are a schematic of the process flow and do not indicate actual equipment positions or pipe routing — see the Plant and Process page for the full process.

Choose by Furnace Type

The right coke depends on the furnace and the process. The four furnace types below correspond to the four products of the plant; select one to see its sizing, application and normal supply range.

Foundry coke is the priority development direction of the plant.

On Specification Adjustment

On specification adjustment. The plant produces to its standard specification on a stable, continuous basis. Sizing can be screened to requirement (including 10–30mm and 5–25mm) as an existing process step. Adjustment of other parameters involves changing the coal blend structure. This requires sufficient and sustained volume to arrange, and materially affects pricing. We recommend assessing suitability against the standard specification first.

The figures above represent normal supply ranges and are indicative only; they are not contractual guarantees. Guaranteed values are agreed item by item in the sales contract, and a third-party analysis certificate issued by a CMA/CNAS-accredited laboratory is provided prior to shipment.
